Sunshine Coast Computer Kindness is a volunteer/donation-driven program for refurbishing donated computers and putting them into the hands of people in need at low or no cost.  It also helps keep viable computers and equipment from the landfill and recyclers.

The Sunshine Coast Computer Kindness program was created by Johnny Stork in 2020 to help acquire, rebuild and place functional used computers into the hands of those most in need. Free technical support can also be found through the Ask a Geek Facebook group.

If you are a family or individual in need of a computer but lack the resources to purchase one on your own, please click on the link below to explain your needs and we will do our best to provide you with a computer.

We have also recently partnered with the Sunshine Coast Resource Centre to provide a physical location from which you can pick up a computer, phone, or tablet.  Check out their Computer Kindness Corner Page for more info.

If you have a computer or device to donate, we deeply appreciate it.  Please click on the button below to fill out a donation form.

Note that we will only take computers on the condition that they are somewhat functional, and preferably wiped.

We will sometimes take phones and tablets, but only under the condition that they are fully functional, and have been factory reset.

If you have any questions, or wish to volunteer for us, please email info@computerkindness.ca

We have need for volunteers to help with the pick up and distribution of computers, as well as technicians willing to work on the donated computers.

If you wish to make a donation to help support our operating costs, you can send an e-Transfer to the above email address.
